A quick stop at Sonya’s Garden.

Apologies for being inactive the last few days; I assisted in a youth camp, whose participants were mostly high schoolers. Lots of hiking, games and obstacle courses, races and relays, and getting drenched and muddied. Mighty fun but I might need a nice long spa day in the next couple days haha.

Anyway, this morning my brothers and I woke up extra early to prepare a mother’s day breakfast-in-bed for my mom— coffee, cheese and mushroom omelette, peanut butter pancakes with bananas, and fresh flowers.

PS, Happy Mother’s Day to all your moms!

I never really was a big Valentines person, but I was more than happy to spend this year’s Vday with two of my lovelies, jessicalahoz and thelittlelle! I suppose it was kind of an excuse to get together amidst busy schedules and catch up over lunch (that’s my Fettucine Tartufo e Prosciutto), bond over some Starbucks and macarons (by none other than La Vie En Rose Sweets), exchange flowers, and laugh uncontrollably at the most mundane things.
Also, nothing beats the barista going, “oh, you’re each other’s dates?” and I proudly answer yes at the same time thelittlelle states, “no, we’re not lesbians.” (Facepalm, sorella. Facepalm.)

Nearly forgot about this.
