Shakespeare & Company, rue de la Bûcherie, Paris.

Easily became one of my favorite places in the world. For more than an hour I just went around and around and upstairs and downstairs, losing myself in every nook and cranny of dust and pages and the beauty of the written word. And I could’ve gone on and on if my friend hadn’t been already waiting for me for a long while outside. Photos weren’t allowed in the shop but I took a piece of this heaven with me in the two books I purchased (probably will be posted separately).
Coming back to this place is something I look forward to in the future. And I sincerely hope that many of you will get to visit it as well.

#10 of my Travel bucketlist, scratched off!
